I just thought I'd like to have a 'kitchen' in cyberspace...
The kind of kitchen that's a proper place for 'homespun' musings and ramblings of a very busy working mom of five.
I hope my friends will drop by and pause over a cup of tea...And what a relief, unlike my RL kitchen, I can save myself the bother of cleaning it... or can't I?

You say you have five children? I'm the eldest of five myself, but my family has hosted Russian students before and all of them were very surprised at the size of our family. Is five children an uncommonly large family in Russia?
Nice of you to visit me, Therese!
I always look forward to your posts, but sometimes I'm too worn out to answer.
Yes, our population is rapidly decreasing, there are lots of families with only one child, and a lot of people have neither aunts and uncles nor cousins. Among church-goers, though, large families are quite common: I know one family with 12 children, another one with 9... Having 5 is certainly not a record, just a bit weird :-) In the school where my children are there are only a few families like ours - perhaps a couple in around 1,000 families.
Hi, Mum.)
